The Department of Mechanical Engineering, S.E.A. College of Engineering and Technology (S.E.A.C.E.T.), Bengaluru, organized an industrial visit to the Government Tool Room & Training Centre (GTTC), Bengaluru, on 5 October 2026, in association with the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) and the Institution’s Innovation Council (IIC). The visit was planned to connect classroom learning with industrial practices and to help students understand the role of advanced manufacturing, precision tooling, and technical training in modern engineering. The interaction highlighted the importance of practical skills and exposure to current manufacturing methods. The visit supported experiential learning and strengthened awareness of career pathways in manufacturing and production engineering.
