Report On National Energy Conservation Day Celebration
The National Energy ConservationDay was celebrated every year on 14th December. The Theme of theNational Energy Conservation Day 2023 is “Raise awareness about global warming and climate change while encouraging initiatives” It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to conserveEnergyresources.
The National Energy Conservation Day 2023 was celebrated in the SEACET campus by an expert talk in virtual mode on “Utilizing Artificial Intelligence forElectric Vehicles (EVs)Integration in the Smart Grid” by Prof. Akash Saxena, Department of Electrical Engineering, Central University of Haryana. The resource person presented the importance of Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques in development of the EV transportation system and the outcome was significant development of EVs will be future of Indian transportation in energy saving and conservation of resources. The highlights of technical presentation are given in Fig. 1.
Objectives Of The Program
- To bring continuous change in society towards conservation and efficient energy useWorld environment day is celebrated to make people aware about the environment.
- To raise public awareness about the value of energy efficiency and conservation, every year, the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power spearheads the celebrations.
- To understandfor your better tomorrow, save energy today. Save Energy, Save Money, Save Nation, Save the planet.
- To raise awareness about global warming and climate change while encouraging initiatives to conserve energy resources.
Outcomes Of The Program
- Students and faculties able to understand the status of EVs which produce no carbon dioxide emissions when driving. This reduces air pollution considerably. Put simply, EVs give us cleaner streets, making our towns and cities a better place to be for pedestrians and cyclists.
- The consequenceof EVs in energy efficiency and ease of maintenance proves to be a sustainable transportation system.
- AI algorithms analyze vast amounts of data from sensors, batteries, and other vehicle components to make real-time adjustments and improve energy consumption.
