The NSS-S.E.A.C.E.T organized an Career Guidance& Extension Activity programme under the National Skill Quality Framework for the 10th standard Students of Karnataka Public School K.R.Pura, Bangalore. The students were welcomed by Dr B Venkata Narayana, Principal, S.E.A.C.E.T and Dr Sukesh H.A, NSS Programme Officer, S.E.A.C.E.T. About 75 students visited the campus, The students were taken to Library and were briefed about the various books and facilities available, then the students visited CSE Lab. The students were assembled in the class room and were guided about academics, career opportunities in Engineering, How to tackle Civil service Exams, followed by cultural programme which included a song and a dance performance by NSS Student Volunteers.

The NSS-SEACET celebrated 75th Year of Constitution adoption Day in a grand manner. The event was organized in A.C Seminar Hall, Prof. T. C. Thriveni Madam, Principal of S.E.A Law College was the Chief Guest, Mr. Balaji N, Advocate, High court of Karnataka was the key note speaker, Presided by Dr B Venkata Narayana, Principal, S.E.A.C.E.T, Dr. Nijaguna G.S, Dean Admissions & HoD,Dept. of ISE, Dr. Lokesh, HoD, Dept of AI&ML, Dr. Sukesh H A NSS Programme Officer & HoD, Dept of IoT&CSBT. The Guests were welcomed to the AC seminar Hall by giving the Guard of Honour Led by NCC Cadets,The event was formally started with the Ceremonial Light Lamping.

Visvesvaraya Technological University, in association with Youth for Seva, organized "One-day Workshop for College Coordinators on AICTE Activity Points" at Sri Krishna Institute of Technology (SKIT) College on 23rd November 2024.The FDP was inaugurated by honourable VC Prof. Vidhyashankar Sir, - Dr. Sudarshana Reddy, Regional Director,Bangalore Region VTU, Mr. Venkatesh Murthy YFS Founder & Chief -, Dr. Karunakara Rai, Professor at NMIT & member of executive counsil, VTU - and Ms. Rakshitha ,Associate Director, SKIT college,Dr. Mahesh, Principal, SKIT college was present in the program. The Keynote address was delivered by - Prof. Karunakara Rai B, Professor, NMIT and Member of Executive council, VTU, Belagavi, The Role of VTU in implementing the AICTE activity points was highlighted by Dr. H R Sudarshana Reddy, Regional Director VTU, Bengaluru. Importance of volunteering, Identifying and nurturing “Volunteer Leaders” was addressed by Mr. Venkatesh Murthy Founder and Mentor, YFS. The Role of Faculty Memberswas highlighted by - Smt. Arunmayee J National Coordinator Volunteering Management, YFS. Integrating community service into academic calendar was explained by - Prof. Uma Dean, Student affairs RVCE.

The NSS-SEACET in coordination with Departments of Computer Science and Engineering, Information Science,IoT,& AI ML, organized Vigilance Week in S.E.A.C.E.T from 09-09-24 to 14-09-24. The students from above mentioned departments took part in the activity by reading the pledge from https://pledge.cvc.nic.in/ and downloaded the certificates. The Activity was concluded on 14-09-24, Dr B Venkata Narayana , Principal ,S.E.A.College of Engineering & Technology was the Chief Guest for the Valedictory Function accompanied by Dr Bhagavath K Deshpande, Director(Engineeing), Dr Nijaguna, Dean Admissions, Dr Lokesh HoD of AI& ML, Dept.Dr Suresha P, HoD of Mechanical Engineering ,Prof.Jayakumar B L, Professor Dept of CSE, also the other staffs of all Departments participated in the event. Dr Sukesh H A, Programme Officer NSS-SEACET, administered the pledge to the students. Dr Nijaguna G S delivered the Vote of Thanks.

The NSS-SEACET in coordination with Departments of Computer Science and Engineering & Basic Science , Participated in the Sensitization Programme “ International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking 2024” organized under the banner of District Mental Health Programme,Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike(BBMP), in R V Nursing College,Jayanagar, Bangalore.The Event was inaugurated by Shri Suralkar Vikas Kishore IAS, Special Commissioner- Health, BBMP, Presided by Dr.Kumar M V, Programme officer,DMHP-BBMP. NSS-SEACET Programme officer Dr.Sukesh H.A, Prof.Nayana, Prof.Priyanka from Basci Science represented SEACET and participated in the event.

The NSS-SEACET in coordination with IQAC,IIC organized a seminar “Awareness on Cervical Cancer” on 22nd June 2024 at 10 am in the AC Auditorium of SEACET. The Event was Chaired by Dr.B Venkata Narayana, Principal,SEACET, Presided by Dr.Bhagavant K Deshpande,Director,Engineering, SEACET, Dr Poornima J,Senior Specialist in Obstetrics and Gynecology, C V Raman General Hospital,Bangalore,as Chief Guest,HODs of Various Departments , NSS Programme Officer Dr.Sukesh H.A, all the women staff of SEACET, along with NSS volunteers Participated in the Event.

The NSS-SEACET in coordination with Departments of Computer Science and Engineering , Information Science,IoT,& AI ML, took part in the Walkathon Activity To bring Awareness on World No Tobacco Day,Organized by the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike(BBMP). The students were brought to the Freedom Park by the Shuttle service provided from the college, The Walkathon Began at 7 am and from there till Ravindra Kalakshetra the route was designed, and reached at 9.30. Breakfast was served and the Volunteers were given the Certificate and medal as appreciation, A momento was Presented to SEACET NSS from BBMP. A total of 67 Students from SEACET took part in the event.

The NSS-SEACET in coordination with Departments of Computer Science and Engineering & Mechanical Engineering, conducted the Extension activities for the School Children of Karnataka Public School, K.R.Puram in the field of Information Technology and Automobile Engineering. The students were brought to the campus by the Shuttle service provided from the college, The students were received by Principal, Director(Engg), IQAC Coordinator , HOD’s of CSE & Mechanical Engineering. The students were taken to the Central Library of SEACET, Digital Library, DBMS,Computer Graphics Lab. They were given with hands on session on how to make word Documents, Prepare PPT on MS-Word. Director (Engg) and HOD, CSE addressed the students and they were briefed with the opportunities in the field of Engineering. Also There was an Memorandum of Understanding(MOU) signed between SEACET and KPS

The NSS-SEACET conducted the awareness of Voting & its importance and celebrated the NATIONAL VOTER’S DAY on 25-01-2024 in the AC Auditorium of SEACET. Dr.Bhagavant K Deshpande, Director(Engineering) addressed the students and delivered the Voter’s Pledge to the students. Dr. B Venkata Narayana, Principal of S.E.A.College of Engineering & Technology, Highlighted the importance of Voting and delivered the speech on it. He also motivated the students to actively involve in the voting in the coming General Elections. Prof. Sukesh H A, NSS Programme Officer ,delivered the Vote of Thanks . The students of Pre-Final Engineering took part in the awareness programme. A total of 100 students participated in this activity. The Students were also made to take the Voter’s Pledge from the website https://ecisveep.nic.in/pledge/. The NSS-SEACET conducted the awareness of Indian Constitution & its importance and celebrated the CONSTITUTIONAL DAY on 27-11-2023 in its campus. The Preamble of Indian Constitution was read by Prof.SUKESH H A, NSS Programme Officer, to the students and also a lecture on the significance of the Constitution was given by him. The NSS Programme Officer highlighted the Fundamental Rights, Directive Principles of State Policy, Fundamental Duties enshrined in the Indian Constitution. The students were made to participate in taking the pledge to read the Preamble of INDIAN Constitution by Ministry of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India,and also the students downloaded the Preamble Certificate from the https://readpreamble.nic.in/ portal. A total of 125 students participated in this activity.The sample Certificate and the list of students who took part and downloaded the certificate are given below.

The NSS Unit of S.E.A. College Of Engineering & Technology, organized the Swacchtha Hi Seva Campaign on 01 October 2023,in the College Campus. As per the SOP, The programme was started at 10 am and went till 11 am. Initially the Students were made to take the Swacchtha Pledge administered by Prof.Sukesh H A, Programme Officer NSS, SEACET. Followed by Cleaning the Campus. The NSS SEACET Student Volunteers actively participated in the event and did the Shramdaan of One hour. The volunteers were helped by the faculty Members, who also contributed in the Swacchtha Hi seva campaign.

Today, SEACET campus was abuzz with the spirit of service as our dedicated NSS volunteers joined hands for the "Swachhta Hi Seva" program. 💪

With unwavering commitment, they invested one precious hour to give our college campus and hostel premises a sparkling makeover. 🏫🌱
